Stat. § 77-3127","heading":"Production activity; application for qualification; contents; fee.","body":"(1) For a production activity to qualify as a qualified production activity under the Cast and Crew Nebraska Act, a production company must file an application for qualification of a production activity to the department at least:\n(a) Thirty days prior to the start of principal photography for a full-length film, documentary, or television programming; and\n(b) Ten days prior to the start of filming for a short-length film, animation project, or commercial.\n(2) The application shall be submitted on a form prescribed by the department and shall include the following:\n(a) A nonrefundable fee of five hundred dollars;\n(b) A detailed description of the production activity;\n(c) An estimate of expected qualifying expenditures for the production activity;\n(d) A certificate of general liability insurance with a minimum coverage of one million dollars;\n(e) A worker's compensation policy;\n(f)(i) Except as provided in subdivision (2)(f)(ii) of this section, documentation that shows the production activity is fully funded other than post-production expenditures.\n(ii) If a production activity is a commercial production activity, documentation showing full funding for post-production expenditures shall be included; and\n(g) Any other information or documentation required by the department.","path":["Chapter 77 - REVENUE AND TAXATION"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=77-3127","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:11Z","sha256":"d12410169570a6eefcc27119528966d1f2e05bd8322002b258aa73b32e415bca","source_id":"us-ne","stale":true,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-77-3126","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-77-3128"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
