Stat. § 79-774","heading":"Terms, defined.","body":"For purposes of the Center for Student Leadership and Expanded Learning Act:\n(1) Career and technical education means educational programs that support the development of knowledge and skill in the following areas: Agriculture, food, and natural resources; architecture and construction; arts, audiovisual, technology, and communication; business management and administration; education and training; finance; government and public administration; health science; hospitality and tourism; human services; information technology; law, public safety, and security; marketing; manufacturing; science, technology, engineering, and mathematics; and transportation, distribution, and logistics;\n(2) Career education student organization means an organization for individuals enrolled in a career and technical education program that engages career and technical education activities as an integral part of the instructional program; and\n(3) Expanded learning means school-based or school-linked activities and programs that utilize school-community partnerships to expand opportunities for students to participate in educational activities outside the normal classroom.","path":["Chapter 79 - SCHOOLS"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=79-774","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:11Z","sha256":"29f448540ce550f0669a0b0be9a95cbef5dba4c8642c69b58d28ac005ce7d8be","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-79-773","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-79-775"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
