Stat. § 81-12,240","heading":"Terms, defined.","body":"For purposes of the Economic Recovery Act:\n(1) Economic redevelopment area means an area in the State of Nebraska in which:\n(a) The average rate of unemployment in the area during the period covered by the most recent federal decennial census or American Community Survey 5-Year Estimate by the United States Bureau of the Census is at least one hundred fifty percent of the average rate of unemployment in the state during the same period; and\n(b) The average poverty rate in the area is twenty percent or more for the federal census tract in the area; and\n(2) Qualified census tract means a qualified census tract as defined in 26 U.S.C. 42(d)(5)(B)(ii)(I), as such section existed on January 1, 2022.","path":["Chapter 81 - STATE ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENTS"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=81-12,240","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:11Z","sha256":"e87f2543770ce04809433adbcde934b0ca745144b9da2abd4fe9bd5d7eacf6db","source_id":"us-ne","stale":true,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-12-239","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-12-241"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
