Stat. § 81-1201.01","heading":"Terms, defined.","body":"As used in sections 81-1201.01 to 81-1201.22, unless the context otherwise requires:\n(1) Community Development Block Grant means the grants distributed pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 as amended by the Housing and Urban-Rural Recovery Act of 1983;\n(2) Department means the Department of Economic Development;\n(3) Director means the Director of Economic Development;\n(4) Economic articulation means the creation of economic activities which will provide inputs to and markets for other businesses in the state;\n(5) Educational institutions means nonprofit public and private colleges, community colleges, state colleges, and universities in the state; and\n(6) Value-adding industry means an economic enterprise that adds value through processing, fabrication, or other means to goods or services.","path":["Chapter 81 - STATE ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENTS"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=81-1201.01","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:11Z","sha256":"4cb1b1fdc5e75caa32e13abaa867ac92c6e85351f250b18bd513c0e887733dae","source_id":"us-ne","stale":true,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-1201","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-1201.02"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
