Stat. § 81-1203","heading":"Job training grant; business plan; project criteria.","body":"(1) A business applying for a job training grant shall submit a business plan to the Department of Economic Development which includes, but is not limited to:\n(a) The number of jobs to be created or the number of existing positions that will be retrained;\n(b) The nature of the business and the type of jobs to be created or positions to be retrained;\n(c) The estimated wage levels of the jobs to be created or positions to be retrained; and\n(d) A program schedule for the job training project.\n(2) A business applying for a job training grant must demonstrate that the job training project to be conducted pursuant to the grant meets the following criteria:\n(a) The wage level of the jobs created will meet the local prevailing average;\n(b) The jobs created will diversify the local economy;\n(c) The goods or services produced by the company will be export-oriented;\n(d) Seventy-five percent of the jobs created will be full-time jobs; and\n(e) The new jobs will be created within three calendar years.","path":["Chapter 81 - STATE ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENTS"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=81-1203","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:11Z","sha256":"1f29dd3c5cecd9dce78e807349527dd0134865262a79e5643c863629ee528298","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-1202","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-1204"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
