Stat. § 81-1318.01","heading":"State Personnel Board; duties.","body":"The State Personnel Board shall ensure the fair and equitable administration of the State Personnel System by:\n(1) Operating as prescribed by rules and regulations adopted and promulgated by the personnel division of the Department of Administrative Services;\n(2) Reviewing and approving, by majority vote, rules and regulations adopted and promulgated by the personnel division;\n(3) Determining the grievability of issues or doing so through the designation of a board member. Issues determined to be not grievable shall be subject to summary dismissal;\n(4) Adjudicating grievance appeals and rendering final binding decisions;\n(5) Rendering decisions consistent with the rules and regulations adopted and promulgated by the personnel division;\n(6) Reviewing and providing counsel regarding any matter affecting the State Personnel System; and\n(7) Performing the actions required pursuant to the State Government Effectiveness Act.","path":["Chapter 81 - STATE ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENTS"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=81-1318.01","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:11Z","sha256":"6576d1103f576e8b7aa52f8de64f48a835a06557bdb12c94150f3ef8940876b1","source_id":"us-ne","stale":true,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-1318","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-1318.02"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
