Stat. § 81-15,230","heading":"Violations; civil actions.","body":"(1) Any state or local government may commence a civil action against an owner or operator of a facility for failure to:\n(a) Provide notification to the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency under subsection (1) of section 81-15,218;\n(b) Submit a material safety data sheet or a list of chemicals under section 81-15,223;\n(c) Make available information requested under subsections (3) and (4) of section 81-15,223; and\n(d) Complete and submit a tier II inventory form under section 81-15,224.\n(2) The Nebraska Emergency Management Agency, the director, or a local emergency planning committee may commence a civil action against an owner or operator of a facility for failure to provide information under section 81-15,219 or for failure to submit tier II information under subsection (5) of section 81-15,224.\n(3) The state may commence a civil action against the administrator for failure to provide information to the state under section 322(g) of Title III.","path":["Chapter 81 - STATE ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENTS"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=81-15,230","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:11Z","sha256":"43f86c7982e053a589f13d3f54ac08ecb5ebb553afd20b61f94afe0d5ecf3259","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-15-229","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-15-231"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
