Stat. § 81-2,162.26","heading":"Adulterated commercial fertilizer or beneficial substance; distribution unlawful; how determined.","body":"No person shall distribute any adulterated commercial fertilizer or beneficial substance. A commercial fertilizer or beneficial substance shall be deemed to be adulterated if:\n(1) It contains any toxic materials, other than pesticides registered pursuant to law, in quantities injurious to plant or animal health;\n(2) Any valuable constituent has been in whole or in part omitted or subtracted therefrom or any less valuable substance substituted therefor;\n(3) Its composition or quality falls below or differs from that which it is purported or is represented to possess by its label;\n(4) Warning statements or directions for use, as prescribed by the director to be shown on the label, are not displayed thereon; or\n(5) It contains amounts of crop seed, weed seed, or other foreign materials in excess of tolerances as may be adopted and promulgated by rules and regulations of the department.","path":["Chapter 81 - STATE ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENTS"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=81-2,162.26","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:11Z","sha256":"b4a8b04ef3b7807638d47eea09409742a6070af779a208e333ea18c7bce82db0","source_id":"us-ne","stale":true,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-2-162.25","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-2-162.27"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
