Stat. § 81-2212","heading":"Council; advise department; areas enumerated; serve as appeal panel.","body":"The council shall advise the department regarding:\n(1) The state plan on aging as developed and prepared by the department;\n(2) Policies adopted by the department;\n(3) The needs of the state's older individuals;\n(4) The development of the state plan and policies which affect the state's older individuals;\n(5) Such rules, regulations, and standards as may be adopted by the department; and\n(6) A community aging services budget for submission to the Legislature by the department.\nThe council shall also act as a panel for the hearing and resolution of any appeal requested by an area agency on aging should the department disapprove the area plan and budget or amendments as submitted.","path":["Chapter 81 - STATE ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENTS"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=81-2212","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:11Z","sha256":"85791429b8a1feb8903cbc702fb0f246c83f22556e9955ce159cc15096eea5fb","source_id":"us-ne","stale":true,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-2211.03","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-2213"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
