Stat. § 81-3547","heading":"Professional geologist; licensure; application; eligibility, practice of exempt activities.","body":"(1) An individual may apply to the board to be licensed as a professional geologist if such individual has practiced any combination of exempt activities described in section 81-3541 for at least fifteen years.\n(2) The board shall consider the following as evidence that an applicant is eligible for licensure under this section:\n(a) The applicant has completed the education requirement of completing a minimum of thirty semester hours or forty-five quarter hours of course work in geology that includes course work in the content domains and hours as prescribed by the board;\n(b) The applicant has passed an examination on the statutes, rules, regulations, and other requirements unique to Nebraska;\n(c) The applicant submitted an application accompanied by the fee established by the board;\n(d) The applicant submitted documentation of at least fifteen years of such individual's practice of any combination of exempt activities described in section 81-3541; and\n(e) The applicant submitted one or more acceptable written references.","path":["Chapter 81 - STATE ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENTS"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=81-3547","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:11Z","sha256":"a897b76b70cd815306507e317c35ee9086a2b470d95abed2ad1fb087e9e24e5e","source_id":"us-ne","stale":true,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-3546","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-3548"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
