Stat. § 81-5,223","heading":"Alternative inspections; requirements.","body":"(1) No inspection shall be required under the Conveyance Safety Act when an owner or user of a conveyance:\n(a) Obtains and submits to the State Fire Marshal a certificate of inspection from a third-party inspection company;\n(b) Obtains a policy of insurance upon the conveyance from a licensed insurance company;\n(c) Files a statement that such conveyance is insured; and\n(d) Pays an administrative fee established pursuant to section 81-5,214.\n(2) No inspection shall be required under the act when there has been an annual inspection under a city ordinance which meets the standards of the act.","path":["Chapter 81 - STATE ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENTS"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=81-5,223","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:11Z","sha256":"4bbcbfa9c167004d44b0bd220984947278375580b3375bce7810734d3f3880be","source_id":"us-ne","stale":true,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-5-222","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-5-224"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
