Stat. § 81-6,113","heading":"Terms, defined.","body":"For purposes of the Outpatient Surgical Procedures Data Act:\n(1) Department means the Department of Health and Human Services;\n(2) Medicaid means the medical assistance program established pursuant to the Medical Assistance Act;\n(3) Medicare means Title XVIII of the federal Social Security Act, as such title existed on January 1, 2003;\n(4) Outpatient surgical procedure means a surgical procedure provided to patients who do not require inpatient hospitalization;\n(5) Primary payor means the public payor or private payor which is expected to be responsible for the largest percentage of the patient's current bill;\n(6) Private payor means any nongovernmental source of funding; and\n(7) Public payor means medicaid, medicare, and any other governmental source of funding.","path":["Chapter 81 - STATE ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENTS"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=81-6,113","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:11Z","sha256":"40c3c33bb6dfc66f74b78afdfe651d8be950e81190e3719b3d4c9e9068b75f60","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-6-112","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-81-6-114"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
