Stat. § 83-1,127","heading":"Board of Pardons; duties.","body":"The Board of Pardons shall:\n(1) Exercise the pardon authority as defined in section 83-170 for all criminal offenses except treason and cases of impeachment;\n(2) Adopt and promulgate rules and regulations for its own administration and operation;\n(3) Appoint and remove its employees as prescribed by the State Personnel System and delegate appropriate powers and duties to them;\n(4) Consult with the Board of Parole concerning applications for the exercise of pardon authority;\n(5) Consult with the Department of Motor Vehicles concerning applications received from the department pursuant to section 60-6,209 for the exercise of pardon authority; and\n(6) Exercise all powers and perform all duties necessary and proper in carrying out its responsibilities under the provisions of the Nebraska Treatment and Corrections Act.","path":["Chapter 83 - STATE INSTITUTIONS"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=83-1,127","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:11Z","sha256":"b7c520e120aeb33b5c5ff37bfa29336b1ab3feb80f41025c1d0293a46cd7d710","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-83-1-126.01","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-83-1-127.01"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
