Stat. § 87-214","heading":"Registration; Secretary of State; cancel; when.","body":"The Secretary of State shall cancel from the register:\n(1) Any registration concerning which the Secretary of State shall receive a voluntary request for cancellation from the registrant or the assignee of record;\n(2) Any registration granted under sections 87-208 to 87-219.01 and not renewed in accordance with such sections;\n(3) Any registration concerning which a court of competent jurisdiction shall find:\n(a) That the registered trade name has been abandoned;\n(b) That the registrant is not the owner of the trade name;\n(c) That the registration was granted improperly; or\n(d) That the registration was obtained fraudulently;\n(4) Any registration that a court of competent jurisdiction shall order canceled on any ground; and\n(5) Any registration where the registrant has failed to publish such trade name within forty-five days from the filing in the office of the Secretary of State and filing proof of publication with the Secretary of State within the forty-five days.","path":["Chapter 87 - TRADE PRACTICES"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=87-214","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:11Z","sha256":"6e50862aa9d6c7ba0c90749ac02d125f81da638e1200385d1fee1e87c809b069","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-87-213","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-87-215"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
