U.C.C. § 2-606","heading":"What constitutes acceptance of goods.","body":"(1) Acceptance of goods occurs when the buyer\n(a) after a reasonable opportunity to inspect the goods signifies to the seller that the goods are conforming or that he will take or retain them in spite of their nonconformity; or\n(b) fails to make an effective rejection (subsection (1) of section 2-602), but such acceptance does not occur until the buyer has had a reasonable opportunity to inspect them; or\n(c) does any act inconsistent with the seller's ownership; but if such act is wrongful as against the seller it is an acceptance only if ratified by him.\n(2) Acceptance of a part of any commercial unit is acceptance of that entire unit.","path":["Uniform Commercial Code","Article 2"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/ucc.php?code=2-606","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:12Z","sha256":"b8b683b4ddb52555001bdc2b622d7fac5b7c48c28e193add85cbd5c9e4c73455","source_id":"us-ne","stale":true,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-u.c.c.-2-605","next":"us-ne/neb.-u.c.c.-2-607"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
