U.C.C. § 4A-108","heading":"Relationship to federal Electronic Fund Transfer Act.","body":"(a) Except as provided in subsection (b), this article does not apply to a funds transfer any part of which is governed by the federal Electronic Fund Transfer Act, 15 U.S.C. 1693 et seq., as such act existed on January 1, 2026.\n(b) This article applies to a funds transfer that is a remittance transfer as defined in the federal Electronic Fund Transfer Act, 15 U.S.C. 1693o-1, as such section existed on January 1, 2026, unless the remittance transfer is an electronic fund transfer as defined in the federal Electronic Fund Transfer Act, 15 U.S.C. 1693a, as such section existed on January 1, 2026.\n(c) In a funds transfer to which this article applies, in the event of an inconsistency between an applicable provision of this article and an applicable provision of the federal Electronic Fund Transfer Act, the provision of the federal Electronic Fund Transfer Act governs to the extent of the inconsistency.","path":["Uniform Commercial Code","Article 4A"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/ucc.php?code=4A-108","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:12Z","sha256":"c9e0449459696143c0129a7471c45083c7ca7e89fc8d410e2e0d0c2c11d95d4b","source_id":"us-ne","stale":true,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-u.c.c.-4a-107","next":"us-ne/neb.-u.c.c.-4a-201"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
