U.C.C. § 9-325","heading":"Priority of security interests in transferred collateral.","body":"(a) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (b), a security interest created by a debtor is subordinate to a security interest in the same collateral created by another person if:\n(1) the debtor acquired the collateral subject to the security interest created by the other person;\n(2) the security interest created by the other person was perfected when the debtor acquired the collateral; and\n(3) there is no period thereafter when the security interest is unperfected.\n(b) Subsection (a) subordinates a security interest only if the security interest:\n(1) otherwise would have priority solely under section 9-322(a) or section 9-324; or\n(2) arose solely under section 2-711(3) or section 2A-508(5).","path":["Uniform Commercial Code","Article 9"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/ucc.php?code=9-325","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:12Z","sha256":"d0934d8cded718f63a13c5a707f4aff31f541b6f35755f0d220d62f6184f7281","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-u.c.c.-9-324","next":"us-ne/neb.-u.c.c.-9-326"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
