U.C.C. § 9-623","heading":"Right to redeem collateral.","body":"(a) A debtor, any secondary obligor, or any other secured party or lienholder may redeem collateral.\n(b) To redeem collateral, a person shall tender:\n(1) fulfillment of all obligations secured by the collateral; and\n(2) the reasonable expenses and attorney's fees described in section 9-615(a)(1).\n(c) A redemption may occur at any time before a secured party:\n(1) has collected collateral under section 9-607;\n(2) has disposed of collateral or entered into a contract for its disposition under section 9-610; or\n(3) has accepted collateral in full or partial satisfaction of the obligation it secures under section 9-622.","path":["Uniform Commercial Code","Article 9"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/ucc.php?code=9-623","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:12Z","sha256":"7a4ef80feca385e001f0f22177abbf91161c75f1e68f8c2618607ea99ed6f245","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-u.c.c.-9-622","next":"us-ne/neb.-u.c.c.-9-624"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
