Any proceeding initiated under the provisions of this chapter shall be commenced within one year following the later of:\n(a) The expiration of the express warranty term; or\n(b) The manufacturer's final repair attempt of the nonconformity, as provided in RSA 357-D:4, V which gave rise to the consumer's request that the vehicle be replaced or the money refunded.\nII.
