{"data":{"id":"us-nh/rsa-564-f-22-2202","jurisdiction":"us-nh","citation":"RSA 564-F:22-2202","heading":"Correcting Filed Document.","body":"(a) Subject to subsection (b), a foundation or foreign foundation may correct a document described in subsection (c) by filing with the secretary of state a certificate of correction.\n(b) A foundation or foreign foundation may file a certificate of correction only within one year of the filing of the document described in subsection (c).\n(c) A document filed with the secretary of state may be corrected if:\n(1) The document contains an inaccuracy; or\n(2) The document was defectively executed, attested, sealed, verified, or acknowledged.\n(d) The certificate of correction shall set forth:\n(1) A statement identifying the document to be corrected;\n(2) The filing date of the document to be corrected;\n(3) A description of the inaccuracy or defect to be corrected; and\n(4) A statement correcting the inaccuracy or defect.\n(e) The certificate of correction may include a copy of the document to be corrected.\n(f) A certificate of correction is effective on:\n(1) Except as provided in subsection (f)(2), the effective date of the document that the certificate of correction corrects; and\n(2) With respect to any person relying on the uncorrected document and adversely affected by the correction, the date on which the certificate of correction is filed.","path":["Title LVI: PROBATE COURTS AND DECEDENTS' ESTATES","Chapter ARTICLE 22: Reports and Other Filings"],"source_url":"https://gc.nh.gov/rsa/html/LVI/564-F/564-F-22-2202.htm","current_through":"2025 regular legislative session, or December 2025","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T17:08:19Z","sha256":"66015f3c449c1696f59e71ab27a4c9fd06e2ac9063f00e5970efefdb50999e19","source_id":"us-nh","stale":false,"prev":"us-nh/rsa-564-f-22-2201","next":"us-nh/rsa-564-f-22-2203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
