{"data":{"id":"us-nh/rsa-564-f-5-501","jurisdiction":"us-nh","citation":"RSA 564-F:5-501","heading":"Registered Agent.","body":"(a) Each foundation shall continuously maintain a registered agent in this state.\n(b) Each of the following persons qualifies as a registered agent:\n(1) An individual who:\n(A) Resides in this state; and\n(B) Has a residential or business office that is identical with the registered office;\n(2) A corporation that:\n(A) Is organized or authorized under RSA 292, RSA 293-A, or RSA 294-A; and\n(B) Has a business office that is identical with the registered office;\n(3) A limited liability company that:\n(A) Is formed or authorized under RSA 304-C; and\n(B) Has a business office that is identical with the registered office;\n(4) A professional limited liability company that:\n(A) Is formed or authorized under RSA 304-D; and\n(B) Has a business office that is identical with the registered office;\n(5) A limited liability partnership that:\n(A) Is formed or authorized under RSA 304-A:44; and\n(B) Has a business office that is identical with the registered office; or\n(6) A foundation that:\n(A) Is formed or authorized under this chapter; and\n(B) Has a business office that is identical with the registered office.\n(c) Upon ceasing to qualify as a registered agent under subsection (b), a person who is a foundation's registered agent shall file with the secretary a notice of resignation in accordance with RSA 564-F:5-503.","path":["Title LVI: PROBATE COURTS AND DECEDENTS' ESTATES","Chapter ARTICLE 5: Registered Agent and Registered Office"],"source_url":"https://gc.nh.gov/rsa/html/LVI/564-F/564-F-5-501.htm","current_through":"2025 regular legislative session, or December 2025","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T17:08:19Z","sha256":"9c1cdbdc93b88f3c6ea1e314a74143b29256ad6f4490ab774bc03fce70ba9ac9","source_id":"us-nh","stale":false,"prev":"us-nh/rsa-564-f-4-402","next":"us-nh/rsa-564-f-5-502"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
