Stat. § 11A:7-13.3","heading":"Guidelines, criteria.","body":"3.\tThe Civil Service Commission's Division of Equal Employment and Opportunity and Affirmative Action shall provide guidelines for the determination of qualification as a qualified person with significant disabilities.  The guidelines may include a person who:\na.\twas or is currently a client of the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services in the Department of Labor and Workforce Development;\nb.\tmeets the eligibility requirements to receive Social Security Disability Insurance or Supplemental Security Income on the basis of a disability, including a person who is eligible to participate in the federal Ticket to Work program authorized under the Social Security Administration;\nc.\tqualifies for appointment under the Office of Personnel Management, Schedule A Excepted Service Hiring on the basis of a disability, Section 213.3102(u) of Title 5, Code of Federal Regulations;\nd.\tqualifies for services, supports, or benefits under programs administered by the Division of Developmental Disabilities or the Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services in the Department of Human Services;\ne.\tnotwithstanding any law, rule or regulation to the contrary regarding civil service veteran benefits, meets the eligibility requirements for services, supports, or benefits under a program for disabled veterans administered by the United States Department of Veterans Administration or the State; or\nf.\tmeets the eligibility requirements for services, supports, or benefits under a program administered by an agency of the State that has been determined by the administrator as comparable to a program described in paragraphs a. through e. of this section.\nL.2021, c.465, s.3.","path":["TITLE 11A CIVIL SERVICE"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"f34d5f48bedb98272298be094b8f5cd2607ba2f4685e2a916286ffc57afa4706","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-11a-7-13.2","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-11a-7-13.4"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
