Stat. § 12:7-49","heading":"Dredges having in tow excessive lines of pontoons or other equipment","body":"No person shall operate a dredge which shall have in tow excessive lines of  pontoons and other equipment and thereby endanger buoys, lights and other aids  to navigation.  A length of pontoon or other tow exceeding one hundred fifty  feet measured from the stern of the towing vessel shall be deemed for the  purposes of this act presumptive evidence of a violation of this section where  damage is shown to have occurred within twenty-four hours after the passage of  such pontoon or tow.\nL.1952, c. 157, p. 524, s. 6, eff.
