Stat. § 12:8-5","heading":"Annual report to Legislature, Governor, State Treasurer.","body":"The commission shall lay before the Legislature, the Governor and the State Treasurer annually:\na.\t(Deleted by amendment, P.L.2004, c.72);\nb.\tA report of the activities of the commission within the last year;\nc.\tA statement of the number of licensed maritime pilots, docking pilots and the number of vessels taken in and out; and\nd.\tSuch observations in relation to the system of pilotage as in its opinion may tend to the benefit of the cause of commerce and be of advantage to the general interest of the State.\nThe report shall also include: (1) The commission's receipts and disbursements or revenues and expenses during that year in accordance with the categories and classifications established by the commission for its own operating and capital outlay purposes and as may be requested by the State Treasurer;\n(2)\tIts assets and liabilities at the end of the year;\n(3)\tA list of all contracts exceeding $17,500 entered into during the year; and\n(4)\tA table of organization of the commission's employees.\nAmended 2004, c.72, s.8.","path":["TITLE 12 COMMERCE AND NAVIGATION"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"1f9398a9cc1ea5498688b1e520ac60b8ff97546aa7eac16cb435ac113e9ca43d","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-12-8-4","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-12-8-6"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
