Stat. § 12A:9-609","heading":"Secured party's right to take possession after default.","body":"Secured Party's Right to Take Possession after Default.\n(a)\tPossession; rendering equipment unusable; disposition on debtor's premises. After default, a secured party:\n(1)\tmay take possession of the collateral; and\n(2)\twithout removal, may render equipment unusable and dispose of collateral on a debtor's premises under 12A:9-610.\n(b)\tJudicial and nonjudicial process.  A secured party may proceed under subsection (a):\n(1)\tpursuant to judicial process; or\n(2)\twithout judicial process, if it proceeds without breach of the peace.\n(c)\tAssembly of collateral.
