Stat. § 17:9A-421","heading":"Fees relative to foreign banks","body":"40.Fees shall be paid to, and collected by, the commissioner as follows:\na.\tThe fee for filing with the commissioner an application by a foreign bank which is not licensed to transact business in this State for approval to establish a branch office shall be $3,000.\nb.\tThe fee for filing with the commissioner an application by a foreign bank or commercial lending company which is not licensed to transact business in this State for approval to establish an agency or an office of a commercial lending company shall be $2,500.\nc.\tThe fee for filing with the commissioner an application by a foreign bank which is licensed to transact business in this State for approval to establish a branch office shall be $2,000.\nd.\tThe fee for filing with the commissioner an application by a foreign bank or commercial lending company which is licensed to transact business in this State for approval to establish an agency or an office of a commercial lending company shall be $1,500.\ne.\tThe fee for filing with the commissioner an application by a foreign bank for approval to establish a representative office shall be $1,500.\nf.\tThe fee for filing with the commissioner an application by a foreign bank or commercial lending company which is licensed to establish an agency, branch or commercial lending company office for approval to relocate or to close that office shall be $1,000.\ng.\tThe fee for filing with the commissioner an application by a foreign bank which is licensed to establish a representative office for approval to relocate or to close that representative office shall be $500.\nh.\tThe fee for issuing a license shall be $300.\ni.\tThe commissioner, by regulation, shall have the power to increase the fees set forth above and to set and to charge additional fees, including but not limited to, annual assessment fees.\nL.1996,c.17,s.40.","path":["TITLE 17 CORPORATIONS AND INSTITUTIONS FOR FINANCE \t\t\tAND INSURANCE"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"ed6a483a1483f0961dfe9c655e2f8cd7f30e0bd511a1b265972acfa8153b74d1","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-17-9a-420","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-17-9a-422"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
