The Commissioner of Education shall establish and maintain, within the limit of funds appropriated, an educator  employment web portal, which shall be fully operational within 12 months of the effective date of this act.  The web portal shall aggregate job postings from public schools and approved private schools for students with disabilities across the State to allow educators to search for positions in one place and provide direct links to school-specific application systems for submission.\nb.\tThe web portal established pursuant to subsection a. of this section shall:\n(1)\tmaximize the ability of educators to connect with public schools and approved private schools for students with disabilities that have employment openings;\n(2)\tincrease the degree of information sharing regarding employment opportunities for educators; and\n(3)\tmaintain high standards for data privacy and security.\nc.\tThe commissioner may contract with a private vendor to effectuate the purposes of this section.\nd.\tThe commissioner may reconstruct an existing Internet website or web portal operated by the Department of Education to meet the requirements established pursuant to subsection a. of this section.\nL.2025, c.208, s.2.","path":["TITLE 18A EDUCATION"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"7f413b16014fd63e482bac0b609486874169efcb973d4d4f53583861c4d5f969","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-18a-6-6.1","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-18a-6-6.3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
