Stat. § 18A:72A-12.3","heading":"Findings, declarations relative to county college capital projects fund.","body":"2.\tThe Legislature finds and declares that:\na.\tHigher education plays a vital role in the economic development of the nation and the State by providing the education and training of the work force of the future;\nb.\tThe county colleges serve a vital role in the educational system of the State by providing students with an affordable means of obtaining higher education, thereby providing opportunities to the residents of the State which would not otherwise be available;\nc.\tCounty colleges and the residents of the State would benefit from additional funds and resources enabling counties to undertake and complete county college capital projects;\nd.\tIt would therefore be appropriate for the New Jersey Educational Facilities Authority created pursuant to N.J.S.18A:72A-1 et seq. to enter into contracts with counties and the State Treasurer to provide for the financing of county college capital projects.\nL.1997,c.360,s.2.","path":["TITLE 18A EDUCATION"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"fa26d85ba84064a7f7ebb813daf58edf2279e510d7c2e2800d09eaa7a289d683","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-18a-72a-12.2","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-18a-72a-12.4"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
