A wholesale distributor shall visually examine each shipping container upon receipt to ensure its identity and to determine if it contains prescription drugs that are adulterated, contraband, counterfeit, suspected of being contraband or counterfeit, or otherwise unfit.\nb.\tContainers found to be unacceptable under subsection a. of this section shall be quarantined from the rest of stock until an examination and determination are made that the contents are not adulterated, contraband, counterfeit, or otherwise unfit.\nc.\tUpon receipt of a shipping container, a wholesale distributor shall review its records for the acquisition of prescription drugs for accuracy and completeness.\nd.\tEach outgoing shipment shall be carefully inspected for identity and to ensure that it has been stored under proper conditions.\ne.\tDisposal and destruction of containers, labels and packing shall be conducted in a manner to ensure that they cannot be used in counterfeiting activities.
