Stat. § 24:6L-7","heading":"Construction of act.","body":"7.\tNothing in this act shall be construed to:\na.\tpermit a person who has completed a training program pursuant to this act to perform the duties or fill the position of a licensed medical professional;\nb.\tprohibit the administration of an epinephrine auto-injector device by a person acting pursuant to a lawful prescription;\nc.\tprevent a licensed and qualified member of a health care profession from administering an epinephrine auto-injector device if the duties are consistent with the accepted standards of practice applicable to the member's profession; or\nd.\tviolate the \"Athletic Training Licensure Act,\" P.L.1984, c.203 (C.45:9-37.35 et seq.) in the event that a licensed athletic trainer administers epinephrine as authorized pursuant to this act.\nL.2015, c.215, s.7.","path":["TITLE 24 FOOD AND DRUGS"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"1354abf78ec742f115a7487a2c0c4ab8f8adc1b7dcd281f2ac6820ba2a1bec9b","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-24-6l-6","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-24-6m-1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
