The Department of Health is authorized to take all reasonable and appropriate steps to seek participation in the Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network.\nb.  To carry out the purposes of subsection a. of this section, the department may:\n(1) Communicate and coordinate with the World Health Organization and the Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network operational support team;\n(2) Submit expressions of interest, applications, or other documentation required for participation;\n(3) Designate one or more offices, divisions, or programs within the department to serve as points of contact for the Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network related activities;\n(4) Participate in technical consultations, trainings, exercises, and information-sharing activities consistent with the mission of the Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network; and\n(5) Collaborate with federal, State, local, academic, and nonprofit partners, as appropriate, to support outbreak preparedness and response activities.\nL.2026, c.50, s.3.","path":["TITLE 26 HEALTH AND VITAL STATISTICS"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2026, c.50, and J.R.1","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-10-18T02:17:40Z","sha256":"453f4985c6449e5e26faada94f6fd4ca3a10f6034202afc778031521011879ba","source_id":"us-nj","stale":false,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-26-1a-37.12","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-26-1a-37.14"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
