Stat. § 26:2H-12.77","heading":"Application for licensure.","body":"3.\tAn entity may apply to the Commissioner of Health for a license to establish a pediatric respite care facility in the State.  In addition to any other requirements set forth by the Commissioner of Health, an applicant shall be required to provide the following:\na.\tcriminal history record background checks of each staff member and administrator of the facility;\nb.\tpayment of any reasonable fees for the issuance or renewal of licenses as determined by the commissioner; and\nc.\tdocumentation of compliance with standards and policies established by the commissioner regarding:\n(1)\tthe core services to be provided;\n(2)\tprofessional personnel requirements;\n(3)\tstandards of patient care; and\n(4)\tadministration of the facility.\nThe provisions of this section shall not apply to pediatric long-term care facilities licensed in accordance with N.J.A.C.8:33H-1.5.\nL.2013, c.267, s.3.","path":["TITLE 26 HEALTH AND VITAL STATISTICS"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"e0029d99dbbb3a32863bffb1c416a56e19194db3a4a85cc8b66b3a36f04e10e6","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-26-2h-12.76","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-26-2h-12.78"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
