Stat. § 26:2K-22","heading":"Pilot program","body":"A hospital having an accredited emergency service may apply to the department for approval to develop and maintain a pilot intermediate life support program in cooperation with first aid, rescue or emergency squads under regulations adopted by the commissioner.  The pilot program shall be limited to rural areas.  A pilot program that is approved by the department shall utilize EMT-intermediates for the provision of intermediate life support services.
