Stat. § 26:2M-7.1","heading":"Long-term care facilities, list of services for Alzheimer's patients.","body":"1.\tA long-term care facility that provides specialized care of patients with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders, as defined in section 2 of P.L.1988, c.114 (C.26:2M-10), shall:\na.\tcompile and maintain daily records for each shift in the facility and provide to a member of the public, upon request, information that indicates for each shift, as appropriate:\n(1)\tthe number of nurses, including the aggregate total of registered professional nurses and licensed practical nurses, providing direct care to  patients diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders; and\n(2)\tthe number of certified nurse aides providing direct care to patients diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders; and\nb.\tprovide  a member of the public seeking placement of a person diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or related disorders in the facility with a clear and concise written list that indicates:\n(1)\tthe activities that are specifically directed toward patients diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders, including, but not limited to, those designed to maintain dignity and personal identity, enhance socialization and success, and accommodate the cognitive and functional ability of a patient;\n(2)\tthe frequency of the activities listed in paragraph (1) of this subsection; and\n(3)\tthe safety policies and procedures and any security monitoring system that is specific to patients diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders.\nL.2003,c.268,s.1.","path":["TITLE 26 HEALTH AND VITAL STATISTICS"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"83a23bb7131ab6618ea24d644037b0034bb3fdcd3461d1348192d35784a71556","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-26-2m-7","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-26-2m-7.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
