Stat. § 26:4C-1","heading":"Definitions relative to lactation rooms.","body":"1.\tAs used in this act:\n\"Department\" means the Department of Health.\n\"Health care facility\" means a health care facility that is licensed by the department pursuant to the \"Health Care Facilities Planning Act,\" P.L.1971, c.136 (C.26:2H-1 et seq.).\n\"Lactation room\" means a sanitary room, other than a restroom, which can be used by a mother to breast feed her baby or express milk in private, and which includes an electrical outlet, a chair, and nearby access to running water.\n\"Medical Assistance Customer Center\" means a community-based office that is operated by the Division of Medical Assistance and Health Services in the Department of Human Services.\n\"One-Stop Career Center\" means the same as that term is defined by section 3 of P.L.1992, c.43 (C.34:15D-3).\nL.2019, c.242, s.1.","path":["TITLE 26 HEALTH AND VITAL STATISTICS"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"5609823eb605894622e7f8d739e5cece14fb631919cc6010a5a150e9d525cac5","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-26-4b-5","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-26-4c-2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
