Stat. § 2A:158-9","heading":"Temporary prosecutors; appointment by court; powers; compensation","body":"In the absence of the attorney general and of the county prosecutor, at any session of the Superior Court, the Assignment Judge of the Superior Court may appoint a fit person to prosecute the pleas of the State during that session.
