The department shall establish and maintain a State case registry.  The department shall regularly monitor cases in the registry with respect to which services are being provided under the State Title IV-D plan. The registry shall include information on:\n(1)\tthe amount and frequency of support owed and other amounts due or overdue under the support order, including arrearages, interest or late payment penalties and fees;\n(2)\tany amounts described in paragraph (1) of this subsection that have been collected;\n(3)\tthe distribution of collected amounts;\n(4)\tthe date of birth of any child for whom the support order requires support;\n(5)\tthe amount of any lien imposed;\n(6)\tinformation on administrative actions and administrative and judicial proceedings and court orders relating to paternity and support;\n(7)\tinformation obtained from comparison with federal, State, or local sources of information; and\n(8)\tany other relevant information.\nb.\tBeginning October 1, 1998, the court shall transmit to the State case registry a copy of every judgment or order that includes a provision for child support.\nL.1998,c.1,s.9.","path":["TITLE 2A ADMINISTRATION OF CIVIL AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"48a1296288a49c1f53e7a3f3f4b6aa8843d69b79735e5759cbc198ad2058c02a","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-2a-17-56.57","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-2a-17-56.59"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
