Stat. § 30:4-75","heading":"Amount of recovery","body":"In any suit for the recovery of the cost of maintenance of a patient able to  pay the full cost of hospitalization in any institution of this State, in the  absence of express contract stipulating the amount to be paid, the rate as  fixed pursuant to section 30:4-67 of this Title shall be construed to be the  reasonable and necessary cost advanced for the maintenance of such patient.\nAmended by L.1965, c. 59, s. 60;  L.1969, c. 258, s. 6, eff.
