Stat. § 30:4D-17.27","heading":"Duties of commissioner relative to report on budget, management plan.","body":"5.\tThe commissioner, in consultation with the Medicaid Long-Term Care Funding Advisory Council established pursuant to this act, shall:\na.\tno later than October 1, 2007, present a report to the Governor, and to the Legislature pursuant to section 2 of P.L.1991, c.164 (C.52:14-19.1), that provides a detailed budget and management plan for effectuating the purposes of this act, including a projected schedule and procedures for the implementation and operation of the Medicaid long-term care expenditure reforms required pursuant thereto; and\nb.\tno later than January 1, 2008, present a report to the Governor, and to the Legislature pursuant to section 2 of P.L.1991, c.164 (C.52:14-19.1), that documents the reallocation of funds to home and community-based care pursuant to section 4 of this act, and present an updated report no later than January 1 of each succeeding year until the commissioner determines that total Medicaid expenditures for long-term care have been sufficiently rebalanced to achieve funding parity between nursing home care and home and community-based care, at which point the commissioner shall document and certify to the Governor and the Legislature that such funding parity has been achieved.\nL.2006, c.23,s.5.","path":["TITLE 30 INSTITUTIONS AND AGENCIES"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"151d212f72a0441e7ce5b9907b1014883a774633901d440a4d2e1923ebdf7a91","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-30-4d-17.26","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-30-4d-17.28"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
