Stat. § 30:6D-32.3","heading":"Construction of act.","body":"3.\tNo provision of this act or provision of any agreement entered into, renewed or extended pursuant to this act shall be construed as:\na.\tInterfering with the rights of the Department of Human Services to place or remove clients from the homes of community care residential providers;\nb.\tInterfering with the rights of individuals with developmental disabilities or their parents or guardians, including the right to change placements;\nc.\tGranting community care residential providers any right to engage in a strike or collective cessation of the delivery of services; or\nd.\tGranting community care residential providers status as employees of the State for the purposes of the \"New Jersey Tort Claims Act,\" N.J.S.59:1-1 et seq., the New Jersey \"Temporary Disability Benefits Law,\" P.L.1948, c.110 (C.43:21-25 et seq.), the New Jersey \"unemployment compensation law,\" R.S.43:21-1 et seq., and the Workers' Compensation Law, R.S.34:15-1 et seq., nor status as employees of the State for any other purposes except for purposes indicated in section 1 of this act, including selecting representatives to negotiate and enter into agreements with the State as provided in that section.\nL.2009, c.270, s.3.","path":["TITLE 30 INSTITUTIONS AND AGENCIES"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"2afc70319a14db78a6a1d7746067cf6fe7caa6a47c16bac9e8c2c27889babd4d","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-30-6d-32.2","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-30-6d-32.4"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
