Stat. § 30:9-12.8","heading":"Persons who may be treated","body":"A county hospital or hospitals established under this act shall be devoted to the care and treatment of:\n(a) Persons suffering from communicable diseases;\n(b) Mentally ill persons;\n(c) Sick, disabled, or aged persons of the low-wage group, who are hereby defined to be those persons who are unable to pay prevailing semi-private hospital charges.\nL.1947, c. 34, p. 91, s. 8.
