Stat. § 33:1-5.4","heading":"Secretary to board of alcoholic beverage control","body":"Any board of alcoholic beverage control established pursuant to section 33:1-5 of the Revised Statutes may, with the approval of the governing board or  body of the municipality, appoint a secretary, who shall receive such annual  salary as shall be fixed by such governing board or body of the municipality;   but any person now serving any such board with the title of clerk to the  chairman shall be designated as secretary to such board.\nL.1947, c. 269, p. 971, s. 1, eff.
