Stat. § 34:15-82","heading":"Liability for injuries or death","body":"An employer securing the payment of compensation by any of the methods prescribed in section 34:15-78 of this title notwithstanding, shall be liable primarily for the payment of proper compensation for personal injuries or death  sustained by his employees.  The employer shall have recourse for the amount  thereof against his insurance carrier.
