Stat. § 34:15C-6.1","heading":"Report evaluating, projecting State's workforce needs.","body":"1.\tThe commission shall, at least annually, prepare a report that evaluates and projects the State's workforce needs.\na.\tThe report, at a minimum, shall include information that describes the following:\n(1)\tthe demand for various kinds of trained workers across all industry sectors or categories of occupations;\n(2)\tthe number of individuals receiving the credentials necessary to meet the demand for workers as described in paragraph (1) of this subsection;\n(3)\tthe absence or shortages of workforce training and educational programs available for individuals to receive the necessary credentials to meet the demand described in paragraph (1) of this subsection; and\n(4)\tthe public or private institutions or organizations that are capable of addressing the absence or shortages of training and educational programs, as described in paragraph (3) of this subsection, through the expansion of existing programs or the creation of new programs.\nb.\tThe commission shall encourage the use of the report by public and private institutions and organizations to evaluate, develop, and plan new and existing workforce training and educational programs.\nc.\tThe commission shall avail itself of the resources and data of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development and the Office of the Secretary of Higher Education in order to create the report.\nd.\tThe commission shall submit the report to the Governor, and to the Legislature pursuant to section 2 of P.L.1991, c.164 (C.52:14-19.1), and shall make the report available to the public by posting it on the commission's official website.\nL.2015, c.280, s.1.","path":["TITLE 34 LABOR AND WORKMEN'S COMPENSATION"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"e54d493f8b749517e19494f8db65f92c329f5c7b8bfb2fc80ae13850534ff9ef","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-34-15c-6","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-34-15c-7"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
