Stat. § 34:1B-282","heading":"Qualification for tax credit.","body":"14.\tIn addition to the submission of any additional evidence that the authority may request to verify that activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, to qualify for a tax credit under the program, a developer shall, as applicable:\na.\tenter into an administrative consent order or other oversight document with the Commissioner of Environmental Protection in accordance with the provisions of section 37 of P.L.1997, c.278 (C.58:10B-29);\nb.\tcomply with the requirements set forth in subsection b. of section 30 of P.L.2009, c.60 (C.58:10B-1.3) for the remediation of the site of the redevelopment project; or\nc.\tcomply with the rules, regulations, and guidelines by the federal government, the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, the New Jersey Department of Health, and the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs regarding requirements for remediation of asbestos, contaminated paint, polychlorinated biphenyls, and other environmental hazards.\nL.2020, c.156, s.14; amended 2024, c.61, s.8.","path":["TITLE 34 LABOR AND WORKMEN'S COMPENSATION"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"4ff89534a2e36983779ebb0b7de14965da51e0b0e788b2234b784b43c3f4f50f","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-34-1b-281","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-34-1b-283"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
