Stat. § 34:9A-12","heading":"Communicable diseases","body":"For the purpose of this act the commissioner may through the State Director  of Health exercise the powers of a local board or health officer with respect  to communicable diseases defined by chapter four of Title 26 of the Revised  Statutes.
