Stat. § 39:2-9.2","heading":"Reemployment rights","body":"A person employed in a position designated as chief inspector, deputy chief  inspector, inspector, special inspector or equivalent Civil Service classifications shall have the following reemployment rights:\na.  The person may be appointed, at his request and at the discretion of the  superintendent of the Division of State Police, as a member of the State Police;  or\nb.  The person shall be reemployed by the State of New Jersey, as provided by the laws governing Civil Service.\nL.1983, c. 403, s. 2, eff.
