Stat. § 40:23-8.24","heading":"Burn prevention and treatment, private, nonprofit organizations;  contributions","body":"The board of chosen freeholders of any county, or the governing body of any  municipality, of this State may annually raise and appropriate an amount not to  exceed $1,500.00, for the purpose of making a contribution to any private,  nonprofit organization which provides the following services to residents of  this State:\na.  Specialized burn treatment facilities and services;\nb.  Burn treatment educational programs for first aid, emergency medical services and other emergency level personnel;\nc.  Burn victim rehabilitation programs;\nd.  Burn medical research;  and,\ne.  Burn prevention programs for the general public and civic organizations.\nL.1977, c. 14, s. 2, eff.
