Stat. § 40A:9-51","heading":"Morgues, morgue keepers; appointments.","body":"The board of chosen freeholders of any county, by resolution, may designate not more than 6 places to be used as county public morgues and provide for their maintenance and operation.  The said board may appoint the morgue keepers for terms of 5 years from the date of their appointments.
