The Commissioner of Human Services shall contract with manufacturers of pharmaceutical products to provide rebates for pharmaceutical products covered under the Work First New Jersey General Public Assistance program (WFNJ-GA), established pursuant to P.L.1947, c.156 (C.44:8-107 et seq.) on the same basis as is required under the \"Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged and Disabled\" program established pursuant to P.L.1975, c.194 (C.30:4D-20 et seq.) and \"Senior Gold Prescription Discount Program\" established pursuant to P.L.2001, c.96 (C.30:4D-43 et seq.) and in section 1927(a) through (c) of the federal Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. s.1396r-8(a)-(c).\nb.\tThe contracts entered into pursuant to this section shall take effect on the date of enactment of P.L.2005, c.156 (C.30:4J-8 et al.).\n(1)\tA manufacturer who is participating in the WFNJ-GA program on the date of enactment of P.L.2005, c.156 shall enter into a contract, as a condition of continued participation in the program.\n(2)\tA manufacturer who was not participating in the WFNJ-GA program on the date of enactment of P.L.2005, c.156 may enter into a contract with the commissioner and become a participating manufacturer.\n(3)\tA manufacturer who participates in the WFNJ-GA program pursuant to this section shall provide to the commissioner such information as the commissioner may request to carry out the purposes of this section.\nL.2005,c.156,s.14.","path":["TITLE 44 POOR"],"source_url":"https://pub.njleg.state.nj.us/statutes/STATUTES-TEXT.zip","current_through":"P.L.2025, c.405, and J.R.22","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-08-27T17:54:13Z","sha256":"83638a3037867090e08d6098b9b10ea2abb11163a720334b6a84a8d4dae08a68","source_id":"us-nj","stale":true,"prev":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-44-8-145.5","next":"us-nj/n.j.-stat.-44-8a-48"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
